Encyclopedia Of Lizzie: B

Ok, so I'm a little tardy to party, but I'm jumping in and joining Shannanigans new project , The Encyclopedia of Me

Basically, every two weeks, I'll post a couple things that begin with a certain letter that I either love, or are a big part of my life.

I'm a letter behind, so without further ado, I present to you:

1. Britney Spears-  Confession:  I love Britney Spears.  I may or may not own a Baby One More Time... doll in the original box.  Don't judge me.  In my eyes Ms. Spears can do no wrong;  wobbling around drunk on the stage during a performance?  She totally broke her heels, didn't you know that?  Attacking a cameraman with an umbrella?  Doesn't she deserve some privacy?  No matter what you say against her, I will defend her.

2. Books-  I love books.  I love the feel of them in my hands.  I love the smell of the pages.  I love it when you borrow one from the library and it has that strange plastic cover-- that is the best sound in the world.  I don't purchase a lot of books (I'm more of a borrow-from-a-friend kind of person) but the ones I do have I treasure.  I can in good conscious say I will probably never own a Nook or a Kindle or anything like that.

3. Breakfast-  easily my favorite meal of the day.  Eggs, pancakes, shit on a shingle, I love it all.  Throw in a side of sausage and I am the happiest person in the world.  Want to make me feel like a rock star?  Take me out to breakfast-- I'll probably order the Eggs Benedict on wheat.

4.  Brothers-  I have three older brothers and when I was little I wanted a sister sooo badly. I had dreams of a long-lost twin sister, separated at birth, that I would some day be reunited with.  Well, that never happened.  However, I think that my relationship with each one of  my brothers has helped shape me into the person I am today.  Being the youngest of four has definitely helped me to become overly (and some times annoyingly) independent, that's for sure.

Good Encyc. I love Britney, too. I've seen a lot of bloggers who seem to love her, as well.

Thanks for joining in buddy! Ok, we clearly need to start hanging out in the AM because breakfast is my faaaaave. Shit on a shingle!! I love that shit! In fact, I was gonna include it under C for chipped beef. And I'm with you on the real book front, none of that electronic biznass for me. Of course, the next time I finish a book may be in 12 years, but yay books!

Brit doll = classic. I love me some Brittney gossip, and would be so bummed if she ever stepped out of the spotlight.

Gabe and I were just having the Kindle/Nook discussion the other day. I agree. (He does not.) I adore flipping through the pages, looking to see if my bookmark is at the halfway point yet, and the satisfying closing of the back cover when I've finished a read. Although, for travel purposes, I could be convinced to Kindle or Nook it up, because I can't fit more than one book into my carry on or luggage because I'm such a travel packrat.

As my sis will attest, I am an avid reader. I love books. They are my drug. My escape from reality so to speak. I even call the local Barnes & Noble heaven. I mean serious 2 stories of nothing but books...... How can it be anything else.

However, I just made the transition to a Nook. I did it for one reason and one reason only. Space. I have currently have 2 wall-sized bookshelves, a 4 shelf case, a 3 shelf case and a 2 shelf case all full of books. Not to mention about 10 boxes full in the attic.

Plus there is nothing worse then going down the shore for a week and running out of reading materials 1/2 way.

Not a problem with the e-reader

Love breakfast foods! We do breakfast for dinner weekly at the Kinne house. :)
