I grabbed this from Shannanigans blog and found it kind of interesting. Right now in the blogosphere it's all the rage to post a video reciting some words to show your accent. I've been left alone all day and need someone to talk to, so who better to talk to then my camera?
Some things to note:
*it's hot in my house, hence why I keep touching my face. I'm trying not to wipe the sweat dripping from me.
*I have ADD and tend to go off on tangents.
*This is not the best angle for me, but let's be honest- I'm nine months pregnant, there really is no good angle right now.
*If you hear any yelling in the background, it's because my next-door neighbors are hosting a Beer Olympics and by the sounds of it, it's getting cut throat.
Without further ado... my first vlog.:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught
And answer these questions:
•What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
•What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
•What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
•What do you call gym shoes?
•What do you say to address a group of people?
•What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
•What do you call your grandparents?
•What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
•What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
•What is the thing you change the TV channel with?
Any other bloggers want to participate?
Always & Forever,
ME

I'm somewhat sad that I wasn't home for this vlogging thing. I feel as though it would have been interesting haha. You should add a vlog to each post for fun.
You. Are. Adorbs. I'm with you on "pellow". WTF?! It's pillow, people of the interwebs. Pillow.
Anyway, I love that I can put a face + voice to your blog now. I'm pretty sure we should all start vlogging on a regular basis, because it's just a whole lot easier than taking photos + writing something witty. Yeah, I'm getting lazy.
Kinda funny that we grew up in the same area and pronounce some things the same and some differently. The way you say Pecan sounds like peekin. LOL! I say mayonnaise. Force of habit from all the years I worked at Burger King. When we called the orders back we weren't allowed to say mayo. And the bug that curls into a ball when touched is a rollie pollie. Look it up. You'll know when you see it. :o)
Also, do you change the pronunciation of words depending how used? Like caramel I pronounce it the same way you do, unless I say caramel apple. Then, I pronounce it car mal.
And I have another question you could add to your vlog. When someone sneezes, what do you say? God Bless You or God Blesh You.
Mom goes by Mem because she wanted to be called something different then Grandmom. A former coworker of Mom's was called Mem by her grandchildren and Mom liked it. She decided that was what she was going to go by. I tried to get her to use the gaelic words but that was a no go.
As JEG's grandmom, bobchi (bobshe) is polish for Grandmother so I wouldn't be surprised if the Ukrainian words wasn't similar.
The bug that curls in a ball is a potato bug.
And I agree with it. It is soda not pop.
Love this post! Love the one that Shannon did too -- you two are completely funny and I wish that I was going to It's Always Bloggy so that I could meet you both!
